Edwardian Muses

The Edwardian period (1901-1910) depicts the grandiose and lush garments, accessories, fashion, and style of the time period. The turn of the century has seen many economic, social, and political changes in the lives of women including the suffrage movement, education, and employment. Edwardian women in history reflect a period of transition and the emergence of new possibilities for women's lives that marks a significant milestone in the journey towards greater gender equality.
